Our Youth Shelter structures are ideal for public spaces, such as playgrounds.
With all our youth shelters we are trying to provide a fun, interesting, durable and safe place to hang out, which offers a multitude of seating and play possibilities – inside and out. Rain protected but not totally weather proofed, with views through for safety of those using it and those passing by.
Made from oak and steel, -steel at low level and for roofing and oak for seating, warmth and detail. Both the Spider Shelter and the Hoop Shelter were designed though workshops in partnership with local young people, and this is always a possible way to go if funding can be secured without a specific design being nailed down.
All our work is bespoke and we can change anything really. We can make them larger/smaller/add more elements to suit your site, requirements and budget.
