A special Hoop shelter for a school unit that looks after kids on the edge. As well as making safe spaces for them we pushed the sustainability of the design forward, using alot more timber, switching from oak to Douglas Fir, and adding green roof elements. For the students two extra spaces where created at the rear, one a contact earth hide away and the other a circular pod, wrapped in wood. Dip bars where also included to help rid excess energy.
